Is Alpha Invoice really free?
Yes. Generate up to two invoices per day and download the PDF for nothing, forever, with no card. The only other limit is two items per invoice, and free invoices are never written to our database.
How do I send an invoice on WhatsApp?
Hit Share on WhatsApp and the PDF drops into the chat as a file, with our link in the message. Pro also gives you a public invoice link you can paste as plain text, so a customer can open it on their own phone without an app.
What should I put on an invoice?
Your business name, address, phone and email; the customer's name and contact details; a sequential invoice number; the issue and due date; each line item with quantity and price; your subtotal, any discount and the total; and your bank or payment details alongside the terms you expect.
How do I know which invoices are overdue?
Pro groups every unpaid invoice into an aging report: not yet due, 1 to 30 days overdue, 31 to 60 days overdue, and 60 days or more overdue. You see how much money sits in each bucket, not just how many invoices there are.
Can I invoice in naira or dollars?
Yes. Alpha Invoice supports naira, Ghana cedis, South African rand, Kenyan shillings, US dollars, euros and British pounds. Set your default currency once and every invoice you issue uses it.
What happens to my invoices if I upgrade to Pro?
Nothing is lost, and nothing is carried over. Free invoices are deliberately never stored, so upgrading simply opens a clean Pro workspace for everything you send from that point on.
